The Story Behind Memories By Melodie

Melodie was born and raised in the Lower Mainland of British Columbia and experienced a childhood different than most - being brought up close to the Funeral Industry. This early exposure created an understanding of life's fragility and uncertainty while instilling an appreciation of family and friends. This was re-enforced later with the unexpected tragic death of her brother, at the age of 19.

One year later, also at the age of 19, Melodie's fortitude was again challenged when she was diagnosed with a brain tumor. After many years of recovery an awareness of her purpose came to life.

It was motherhood and life experience that inspired Melodie to create meaningful treasures that symbolize those special people in our lives.
